INSTRUCTOR JOB APPLICATION

WILL YOU BE OUR NEXT INSTRUCTOR?

Are you a bodyworker or movement therapist with a strong understanding of human anatomy?

We are looking for people who have a background in working with the body with a background in modalities in but not limited to the following: kinesiology, physical therapy, personal training, athletic training, Pilates, yoga, gyrotonics, massage therapy, etc.

Are you willing to teach the Neuro Kinetic Pilates method?

While although we each draw from our own unique backgrounds and skills, at Body Wellness Hawaii we teach solely the Neuro Kinetic Pilates (NKP) method in private 55min sessions following the bio mechanic motor development through the muscle fascia chains, which Alejandra has developed. Each new instructor will go through the Basic NKP Fitness course before starting teaching at the studio, so he or she will have a good understanding of not only the exercises, but also how to teach them. It is only once the basic course has been finished, that an instructor is then eligible to take one of the specialty courses.

Are you a hard worker, who is serious about working in a professional, movement therapy environment?

If you answered yes to all of these, we would love to hear from you! Please fill out the form below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Are you someone who works well as a part of a team?

Here at Body Wellness Hawaii we are a close knit team, who works together to give our clients the best possible results. There is no competition between us and no one client belongs to one instructor. We share the clients and the clients understand this. We work with each other, under the guidance of our master teacher Alejandra, to find the best possible exercise/movement/instructor for each client. When the client first comes to Body Wellness Hawaii he or she will meet with Alejandra for an evaluation. From there, Alejandra will place the client with the instructor she feels they will work best with and she, as well as the rest of the team, continues to be a large support in the client’s training program. We are all very open and willing to help each other with each of the clients who come to the studio.

Are you willing to work 5 days a week for 5 sessions per day?

We are very fortunate to have the problem of clients waiting to get an appointment with us at the studio; but because of that, we are looking for instructors who are willing to work 6 hour shifts, five to six days per week. We are open to working with you and your schedule, but we do need this minimum commitment.
